Biogas 3000

Biogas is the result of a mixture of different gases being produced when organic matter is broken down in the absence of oxygen.  Biogas can be produced from livestock and agricultural waste (such as manure, municipal waste and sewage), food production (food and brewery waste and much more) and wastewater treatment plants.

Industry and applications: Farming, Food Production, Brewing, Wastewater Treatment, Anaerobic Digestion

Description

The agricultural industry uses anaerobic digestion (AD) plants and biogas power plants and turn the biogas into renewable energy as well as disposing of organic waste.  A common use is to convert the energy in the gas into heat and electricity.

Sewage processors are large energy users and AD can offset and help manage this.

Many universities, government departments and specialist operators carry out biogas research.

CSLs range of Biogas analysers optimise the gas production and ensure equipment is protected from excessive gas levels. For portable and fixed monitoring CSL will identify the best solution to suit site conditions, supply, install, calibrate and maintain the equipment.

CSL are exclusive Irish agents for the Geotech’s range of biogas analysers. Geotech is a trusted manufacturer and supplier of portable and fixed gas analysers
