IVF Clinic Gas Detection
INCUBATOR VERIFICATION
CSL supplies and services portable carbon dioxide monitors for use in incubator laboratories to verify CO2 in IVF and stem cell research applications.
Growing good embryos is the key to IVF success. A good embryo depends on quality of eggs, sperm and the expertise and equipment in the lab. The G100 CO2 incubator analyser can help clinics improve their success rates. The G100 provides the user with a fast, simple to use and accurate piece of laboratory kit. The key benefit of using the G100 is the ability to take simultaneous CO2, O2, relative humidity and temperature readings.
Commonly used environmental conditions for human IVF incubators are 5% CO2 in air, 37 degrees Centigrade, and 100% relative humidity.
Some labs culture embryos in a low oxygen system using approximately 5% CO2, 5% O2 and 90% N2.
Modern incubators have monitoring equipment built-in, but they are often not accurate and not easily calibrated. Studies have shown that temperatures and gas concentrations vary within the incubators – their monitors are stationary so you do not get the “full picture”.
Clinics can use the Analyser Data Manager software to plot graphs and identify trends. For example, how often are technicians opening the door of the incubator, how long for, and how is this affecting the temperature inside?
The G100 has become the first in the industry to receive the international ISO 17025 certification and the UK’s UKAS accreditation.
Accurate readings and quick verification of CO2 incubator levels – a reading takes under a minute.
Using one instrument makes analysis simple and easy.
Built in gas moisture removal protects the G100 from water ingress.
Dual temperature probes help you to adjust the temperature to stabilise conditions within your incubator and helps you analyse temperature variation
The G100’s easy to read menu and large, well lit display makes data readings quick and simple.
User friendly software specifically created for the G100 helps you make sense of your data storage and download
