Water Treatment Gas Detection

Chemicals such as Chlorine and Ozone are used to disinfect water and these chemicals are toxic at relatively low levels. 0.5ppm The H.S.A. short term exposure limit for Chlorine is 0.5ppm. The HSA short term exposure limits for Ozone ranges from 0.05ppm to 0.20ppm depending on the type of work undertaken.

Confined space work on water treatment sites require use of portable gas monitors that protect for a number of gases. Our Crowcon T4 monitors for the four gases associated with confined spaces.
